Who We Are
At Nelson Insurance Agency, we are proud to be owned and operated by the Nelson family for multiple generations. Founded in 1926 by Albert Nelson Sr., the company was purchased by his son, Albert Nelson Jr. in 1961. After successfully owning and operating Nelson Insurance Agency for over 35 years, and teaching his children, Karin and Mikel, how to serve customers, Albert Nelson Jr. sold the agency to them in 1998.
We strive to serve our customers to the best of our ability. We don't want to just sell insurance. We want to help you protect your way of life. We are a company of insurance agents that truly care about you as a person and what you need as an individual.
At Nelson Insurance Agency, we are an independent agency, writing insurance through a number of different companies, to make certain that you get a customized plan that is the best available to suit your individual needs.
